Nothing Phone (1) Will be Available at ₹32,999 on Flipkart From July 21

On Tuesday the most viral Nothing phone (1) on social media and news websites that had created hype and anticipation has been launched on its official website

Carl Pei the founder of Nothing who was also the former founder of “Flagship Killer” OnePlus unveiled this smartphone on Tuesday from a virtual stage in London. He announced the price of Nothing Phone (1) starting at ₹ 32,999. In India, this phone will be available on Flipkart and the sale will start on 21 July.

Carl Pei said the entire keynote was filmed on a Phone (1). Nothing phone (1) is the second product of Nothing after the truly wireless stereo ear (1). Phone (1) has a transparent back that shows off a Glyph Interface made with LED light strips on it. These LED strips contain 900 tiny bulbs that can be customized for different notifications.

Nothing Phone (1) is powered by a Snapdragon 778G Plus SoC (system-on-a-chip) that allows features such as optical image stabilization for the rear dual-camera setup, wireless charging, and reverse charging. Nothing phone has a flat-edge design like iPhone. It has a 6.66-inch AMOLED display that can support a 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. For battery backup, this phone is powered by a 4500mAh battery with 33W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging. This phone has 50MP primary camera along with a 50MP secondary ultrawide shooter camera. For selfies, this phone has a hole-punch cutout camera on the top left corner of the display.

This will be available in three variants 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB. There will be color choices one is white and another is black.

The Nothing Phone (1) features a retro-chic user interface with its minimalist wallpapers and ringtones. This phone will run on Nothing OS based on stock Android 12.

While speaking at the launch event Pei took sly digs at Apple for its heavy weight and other brands for heavy android customization. But Nothing’s focus is on creating an ecosystem.
