Flora Saini is a popular Indian model and actress. She is also famous for her screen name Asha Saini. She was born on 29 September 1979, in Chandigarh, India. Her father is an army officer so her schooling is done in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir. After that, she continued her education in Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, Delhi. After her schooling, her family moved to Kolkata and here she started pursuing a modeling career. She has also participated in the Miss Kolkata beauty pageant.
Professional Career of Flora Saini
Flora Saini made her professional career in acting and modeling. In 1999 she made her first debut in Telugu film Prema Kosam. In this film, the producer rechristened Flora as Asha Saini. After a few years, she changed her name to Mayuri after the advice of an astrologer.
She worked on more than a dozen of Telugu films. Then she appeared in the film Narasimha Naidu (2002) which become highly successful. In 2002 she appeared in her first Hindi language film Bharat Bhagya Vidhata, after that her second movie come Love in Nepal in 2004. She has also worked in several Kannada movies.
Flora’s name has also been registered in Limca Book of Records for releasing three films one in Telugu and two in the Kannada language on the same day.
Last she was seen as a lead role actress in a web series Gandi Baat season 2 with famous actress Anveshi Jain. Now she is also working for a web series Mayanagari-City of Dreams of Hotstar.
Arrested In Chennai for Forged Visa Documents
Flora Saini was arrested in March 2008 in Chennai for supposedly having forged visa documents after that she was banned from the Tamil film industry. But after that case in a couple of weeks, she was proven innocent and the ban on her was lifted by the Tamil film industry.
